Three generations, one gravel path

CostaSerena is run by Sofia Papadimitriou and her brother Alexandros, who grew up three streets behind the small market square of Vourvourou. The slope behind the family house — eight acres of pine and old summer rentals — was left to them in 2009 by their grandmother Despina. They opened the first two apartments that summer, with one stonemason from Parthenonas, one carpenter from Nikiti, and a small loan from Piraeus Bank that they finished paying off in May 2018.
